The urban development concept is based on four sculpturally pronounced structural units standing in correlation to each other. These build a significant high-rise complex in the urban development area on the Danube Canal of Vienna’s 3rd municipal district. The special positioning of the structural units and their sculptural form create differentiated outer and inner areas on all sides and guarantee visual transparency from TownTown to the green areas of the Prater.

Vertical separations using protrusions and recesses partially relate in their zoning to the surrounding structures and create consciously differing proportionality within the quarter or in relation to the urban space. The individual buildings are connected with a 1-2 storey base structure which ensures passage from TownTown to the Danube canal areas. An urban square is planned in the center of the new quarter, which spatially passes into the bordering park of a city residential neighborhood to the north.

The urban development solution is based on urban spatial considerations on the one hand and the need to be able to offer multi-purpose structures on the other. The defined dimensions of the individual buildings are equally suitable for office, as well as residential use. The varying geometrics of the particular levels and the static concept with structural development cores and point supported flat slabs allow for maximum flexibility and a variety of floor plans.

The special design of the development cores allows for three separate entrances per floor which creates numerous partitioning options. In the case of office use, any conventional forms of office organization can be integrated, from individual rooms to open space offices. For residential use, any apartment sizes are feasible, ranging from a 2-room apartment to a spacious loft. A further advantage of the varying floor plan configurations is the fact that a number of two-sided or corner exposed apartments can be offered, with a fantastic view of the green spaces of the Prater and the surrounding urban areas.

Green, collectively usable roof terraces on the individual levels of the buildings compliment the open space offer in terms of vertical landscape topography.
The location could not be any more ideal. The three towers of TRIIIPLE are located in the direct vicinity of the largest recreational area of the city, the Prater, which with its 600 hectares of terrain is nearly twice the size of Central Park in New York.
